Summary:

Support the commercialization of advanced antenna material opportunities. Lead internal development activities focused on delivering differentiated, materials enabled solutions.

Essential Functions:

• Work with marketing, prototyping, assembly, and operations to develop wholly optimized antenna solutions.
• Lead the execution of electromagnetic design activity
• Develop algorithms and new software tools to assist in design of electromagnetic structures
• Establish product tolerances, and lead manufacturing tolerance analysis
• Simulate antenna arrays and structures using Ansys HFSS
• Prepare reference designs showcasing the benefits of new material solutions
• Produce technical reports to document key learnings from product development activity

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in electromagnetics and 3+ years of industry experience OR:
• A Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in electromagnetics and 1+ years of industry experience OR:
• Superb written and verbal communications skills
• Experience with the design of microwave circuits using specialty PCB materials, preferably at mmWave frequencies
• Entrepreneurial spirit and drive for rapid results
• Proficiency with Ansys HFSS RF simulation
• Proficiency with MatLab coding
• Proficiency with setting up genetic algorithm optimizations of RF designs
• Ph.D. in electromagnetics, with 5 years of experience in antenna design at mmWave frequencies
• Experience in novel techniques for design acceleration – genetic algorithms, artificial intelligence, etc.
• Patents or published literature is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $87,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
