The right skills for this team will:

• Effectively lead a team of accountants by training, coaching and mentoring
• Ability to build and nurture strong customer relationships
• Be able to handle escalated customer requests for your team
• Efficiently review accounts and provide feedback and training based on Quality Control measures
• Perform weekly bookkeeping and monthly reconciliations for 40+ customers
• Expertly Communicate with clients via phone, text, e-mail, or video conference
• Champion sales tax review to ensure monthly and accurate filings
• Advanced knowledge of complex accounting principles and ability to explain them simply
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and software integrations (e-commerce)
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload

Must Have:

• A strong work ethic and a get-it-done attitude
• Minimum of a B.S. in Accounting
• 5 years’ minimum experience in Full Charge Bookkeeping and/or 3 years in Public Accounting
• 2+ years successful experience as a supervisor, leading a team
• 2+ years of Customer Service experience and managing customer escalations
• Experience training and mentoring others
• Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft products, QBO, Xero or similar

Brownie Points awarded for:

• Certified in Xero or QuickBooks
• Public Accounting Experience
