Employer is a mid-sized Cookeville law firm. We practice in Putnam and the surrounding counties. Our practice areas include criminal defense, family law (divorce and custody), civil lawsuits, contracts, property, and contract cases. Our lawyers are trial attorneys, and we spend most of our time representing clients in the court room. This is not a transactional law firm.

We are hiring a full-time intake specialist. This position is a sales representative who speaks with potential clients. You would be responsible for gathering details about the potential client’s case, determining whether their lawsuit is a fit for our firm, sharing details about the strengths of our firm and our focus practice areas, discussing our legal fees, and scheduling proper prospective clients for initial consultations.

Compensation is based on prior experience and ability. Base salary ranges from $16-$20/hour with a strong bonus incentive structure. This is a full-time position: M-F 8am-5pm.

· Ability to manage a large volume of calls

You must be willing to learn about our firm, our attorneys, and what we have to offer. Must be able to listen to clients who are managing difficult life situations, and must be capable of moving the conversation along quickly to determine whether the case is appropriate for a consultation. Our firm experiences high demand; organizational skills are necessary to sort out desirable cases from those that have a low likelihood of becoming clients.
