Ophthalmic Technician Job at Diane Hilal-Campo, M.D.
Diane Hilal Campo, MD is located in one location, in the Valley Professional Building in Oakland NJ. We are a busy General Ophthalmology practice doing routine eye exams, contact lenses, minor surgeries, cataract surgeries and cosmetic procedures. Dr Eric Saunders recently joined the practice, and we need an another experienced full time tech. We are looking for a well rounded Ophthalmic Tech with excellent skills, who is personable and reliable to join our team. Our hours are Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm, and one Tuesday a month 12 to 8 pm if possible. No Weekend Hours. Salary is competitive. Benefits include medical, dental, and 401 K. Full PPE is provided.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Patient work up: auto and manual refractions, patient medical and family history, patient medication,and allergy history and reason for visit or follow up
- Contact Lenses experience preferred.
- Testing as needed would include: HVF, OCT, Topography, OPTOS, IOL Master. Experience with scribing and keeping up with the office flow.
Must be comfortable with EMR. Our system is Iopracticeware.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
