Position: Mexico Master Production Planner
Department: Scheduling
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Northern Mexico and/ or Yuma, AZ with some travel to Central Mexico
Pay: $120,000

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Coordinate demand with raw supply for all items being packed in Mexico, mainly focusing on our SLRC processing plant SKU’s. Develop and execute the daily production schedule. Ensuring that all our customers’ orders are being fulfilled, while keeping sales staff informed of any challenges. When supply or processing issues arise, serve as a key collaborator to solve problems, drive results, and develop an action plan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the development, execution, and performance monitoring of the production schedule.
• Analyze and review data to outline the day-to-day operations of the facilities
• Utilize sales data, production schedule, machine availability, raw product, materials and labor to make calculated decisions
• Assure efficiencies are met at every stage of production
• Utilize inventory and sales to adjust plans as needed
• Prepare and share reports to summarize production information, raw product usage, and harvest forcasted needs
• Continuously communicate line efficiency reports for prior day’s production
• Serve as a critical factor in assuring raw product is available to fulfill demand on production lines by constant communication with harvesting operations
• Coomunicate any changes or problems with production or raw product to sales
• Determine if spot buys or outside purchases are necessary when demand isnt met
• Particpate in daily 11am customer service meeting with sales staff

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Experienced with MS Excel
• A minimum of 5-10 years releative experience in production planning
• Prefereably a Master’s Degree in a business capacity (preferably supply chain or finance)
• Maintain Supply Chain certificates (preferred, but not required) o Examples include: APICS, CPIM, CSCP

ESSENTIAL ABILITIES

• Highly analytical
• Bilingual (Spanish- Required)/Bicultural
• Able to travel/relocate as required
• Must be an excellent communicator both verbal and written
• Must be a team player with proven ability to collaborate effectively amongst cross functional departments
• Must have a flexbile schedule and ability to work late hours and weekends if needed
