Medical Coder - Hybrid Remote Job at Wisconsin Institute of Urology
CPC- Certified Coder
We are looking for a part-time .6FTE certified coder to join our team. This position will work alongside the rest of the revenue cycle team to ensure that all encounters are properly coded. We currently have 10 physicians and 6 Advanced Providers and are rapidly expanding. The right candidate is detail oriented with knowledge of coding rules, edits and modifiers. We offer competitive pay and benefits for this part-time certified coding position. This position requires excellent communication, computer and phone skills and the ability to multi-task. After the initial onsite orientation, training and daily work can be completed fully remote or in person. Must be within driving distance of the office to attend in person meetings when required.
The ideal candidate must have E/M (office visit) coding experience. Familiarity with surgery and procedures is a bonus! At least 1-year Epic coding experience is preferred.
