Job Title: Electrical / Mechanical Assembler

Department: Production

Reports To: Assembly Team Leader

Position Summary: Production assembler in a past paced, high volume environment. Must be able to reliably follow directions producing high quality mechanical and/or electrical assemblies.

Minimum Background, Experience, and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of assembly experience.
• Strong desire to learn on the job
• Ability to read blue prints and understand assembly drawings and bill of materials
• Able to read and write English well and use a computer.
• Deadline driven and able to multi task in a fast paced environment
• Able to read a tape measure and operate simple power and manual hand tools.
• Reliable, good work ethic, high integrity, and drug free
• Clean, presentable appearance

Tasks / Responsibilities:

• Receive production orders from Team leader and assemble based on instructions provided by supervisor and on work orders.
• Aid in the movement of component parts to the assembly area, and of finished parts to next operation.
• Read blueprints and bill of materials to ensure proper parts are being assembled.
• Scan into and out of work orders correctly and record accurate count of welded assemblies.
• Aid in other departments as needed by supervisor.
