Leadership:

• Oversees the Facility Operations Department and Safety Programs
• Promotes and enforces departmental and Facility safety standards
• Develops and implements processes to continually improve operational effectiveness and financial performance for Facility Operations
• Assists with construction design
• Manages construction projects/renovations for Facility
  Manages:
• Directs, manages and coordinates the daily activities of the Facility Operations Administrative Assistant
• Evaluates and provides coaching to employees within scope of responsibility
  Communication:
• Effectively communicate concepts and technical information with staff, contractor and consultants
  Budget Preparation:
• Prepares departmental and construction budgets
  Education:
• Educates, trains, and provides orientation to staff
• Assists with in-services
• Attends, demonstrates and participates in performance improvement activities and other educational programs (as required)
  Regulatory Compliance:
• Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
• Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues
  Regulation:
• Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
• Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues
  Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years documented experience in a management role in maintenance/operations; required
• Equivalent Education/Job Knowledge: Associates Degree with 5 years of experience in a management role in maintenance/operations
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction/operations/maintenance’ required
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Safety Management/Education; required
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Emergency Preparedness/Management
• Must have a valid Mississippi driver’s license and clean driving record; required
• Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills required
• Must have creativity, reasoning and problem-solving abilities; required
• Knowledge of basic computer skills; required
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; required
