FlexSchool is a private lower, middle, and high school that specializes in motivating and supporting gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) students. We individualize our coursework to accelerate when possible and decelerate when necessary, always celebrating strengths and meeting students where they are.
We are currently looking for a full-time classroom aide at our Berkeley Heights campus for the 2022-2023 school year.

Duties
Provides support to the teacher to ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment.
Plans, prepares and develops various teaching aids for use in the classroom, including activity sheets, drawings, and similar handouts.
Presents subject matter to students, under the guidance of a teacher, utilizing a variety of methods including stories, discussions, and role-playing.
Assists children with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts.
In the absence of the teacher, may confer with parents on children's progress.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
