Job Description:
Lead UI developer
The client is looking for a Lead Front End Developer to help build a framework and tools that allow our retails colleagues organize their digital work environment. We expect this candidate to work with a team of frontend developers, UX designers and back-end engineers.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with product management, UX, and back-end engineering teams to build the front-end of the product.
- Provide technical expertise throughout the project including design, implementation, and delivery phases.
- Contribute to the improvement of the front-end engineering discipline by leading and mentoring the development team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent technology discipline.
- 8+ years’ experience in developing front-end for large scale web application.
- Expertise in front-end JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as Angular, AngularJS and/or ReactJS.
- Excellent programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience and expertise in UI architecture, component/framework design.
- Strong understanding of mobile platforms and hybrid web application.
- Developing advance responsive layouts.
- Experience in building web application compatible across multiple browsers and browser versions.
- Hands-on developer who can inspire the team to write clean, readable, and efficient code.
- High attention to detail.
- Good understanding of back-end systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
