Field Market Visual Merchandiser - DALLAS Job at Shoe Palace Corporation
The Role
Do you want to share your vision with the world? Are you a trendsetter and have a great eye for presenting our collections in an inspiring and commercial way?
The Market VM will need to consistently execute Shoe Palace visual merchandising direction including product placement, fixture placement, and display elements to provide a consistent customer experience across all Shoe Palace locations. In this role, you will work with the Visual Merchandising Manager to ensure clear visual impact and presentation consistency across all locations within the region.
We are looking for a field visual merchandiser who has a poised fashion vision, someone who is not scared to take risks and think outside the box.
This is what a day at work may be like…
- Motivates the store team to perform their work duties by forming an enjoyable, challenging, and satisfying environment.
- Preserves firm partnership with Store Management.
- Travel from one store to the next - to always ensure and elevate visual brand standards.
- Load pictures onto Dropbox after every store visit.
- Send recaps to VM Manager for every store visit.
- Remotely communicate through technology to execute visual merchandising directives and product changes with store teams according to the corporate brand vision and process.
- Review and report the status of visual presentation with VM Manager to ensure awareness and support through documented VM recap process.
- Identify additional store specific visual merchandising opportunities to support increased sales.
About you…
- Multi-Unit VM experience.
- OK with fieldwork? You must have a reliable vehicle.
- Computer Savvy (computer-aided design work).
- The ability to use basic hand tools - Lifting, bending, and working from a ladder.
- Open to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize.
- Can you work in a team and alone? Perfect!
- Passion for Fashion? Should be an understatement!
- Excellent communication, presentation, delegation, and follow-up skills.
It would be great but not necessary if you have…
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Fashion Degree)
- Experience in the retail industry with emphasis in athletic footwear.
- Experience working for a growing company
