Salary range listed does not include the bonus and profit sharing which can be an additional 50% on top of the base salary range shown.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, chemical engineering or related field.
• Open to entry level engineering graduates

Preferences:

• Industrial, consulting, or regulator experience in environmental compliance, permitting, reporting
• Experience with Title V and or NPDES permitting
• Experience in air pollution control, water treatment operations, hazardous waste, and radiation
• ISO 14001 or related management system knowledge and audit experience
• Experience related to manufacturing or industrial environment
• RCRA waste generation, storage, and proper disposal knowledge
• Geographically mobile for current or future career opportunities
• Communication - The ability to effectively express ideas to individuals and groups, exhibit effective listening and showing a genuine interest in others.
• Teamwork - Working as part of a coordinated effort with others to achieve a common goal.

responsibilities:

The environmental engineer is responsible for leading the safety and environmental compliance at the division. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: maintain compliance with all safety and environmental requirements; implementation and management of environmental programs (air, water, waste) including permitting and reporting; education and training of the team; engaging with the plant wide team for solutions to problems and promote continual improvement; and participate in community outreach initiatives.
