POSITION SUMMARY:

Our practice prides itself on providing the highest standard of medical care in a personal, caring, and professional atmosphere. Our Medical Assistants support that mission by providing excellent patient care and assisting our providers. Day to day activities may include direct patient care, assisting in clinical procedures, pharmacy calls, and triage duties when necessary. We have a high tempo practice where flexibility and multitasking is essential in maintaining workflow.

SKILLS & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Strong computer skills are required
• Skill and accuracy in typing and spelling is required
• Taking vital signs, collecting patient history, and documenting EMR
• Screen telephone calls for providers and follow up calls with patients
• Assist providers with examination and treatment of patients
• High organizational skills, multitasking, and clear communication is needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Lifting requirements: 20 - 40 lbs.
• Frequency of lifting: 0 - 20% of the time

JOB TYPE:

• Full-Time Position (40 hours)
• Schedule consists of both 8 and 10 hour shifts
• Hours of Operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 6:00 pm

EDUCATION:

• High school Diploma or equivalent required
• Graduation from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program is preferred

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in clinical role is required
• Knowledge in ENT specialty is preferred
