Major Activities

  • The Corporate Application team is responsible for the Company webpage and Company B-to-B platform, which connects company systems with customers, suppliers, and other internal systems.
  • The Web Developer, Manager will serve dual roles, providing development and support in our external web space as well as providing development and support for our customer facing Application company

Responsibilities

  • This role will encompass internal business and technology consulting through support, enhancement coordination, and project management.
  • Participate in the management and planning of the infrastructure and operating environments of the End User Productivity area.
  • Monitor and manage the activities of off-shore support and development resources for the company application
  • Provide guidance and verification of compliance activities within both areas
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer interaction to identify and recommend computer and business solutions to effectively and efficiently satisfy the data processing and information requirements of the business
  • Provide support and/or preventive maintenance on the systems or technologies in assigned area(s) of responsibility, with minimal supervision
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the business processes or technologies in area(s) of responsibility; participate in and learn how to perform the analysis of the customer's processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify, establish, and support value-added cross-functional data and system linkages
  • Pursue continuous learning consistent with the movement in the job requirements and changes in technology
  • Execute proof of concepts and feasibility analyses for new technological capabilities in the company area

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or Math from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of diverse programming experience with 2 or more programming languages.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Unix/Linux environment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with SQL and XML
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing off-shore team(s)
  • Experience programming ASP .NET web applications using C#.NET Framework and jQuery
  • Knowledge of VB.NET, ADO.NET, Azure, etc.
  • WordPress
  • PHP programming
  • Experience with application hosting and portal migration
  • Solid understanding of system life cycle
  • Experience managing small projects
  • Ability to provide work direction to a small team
  • Possess strong human relation skills and be able to interact with internal and external customers, vendors, other IT professionals, and GIS management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to self-learn, research, and understand new technologies
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with a strong will to solve problems, adapt, and take initiative

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
