Job Description

• Opening & closing duties.
• All shipping & receiving duties.
• Custom boxing and packaging of mattresses and like items.
• Follow work orders, instructions and procedures.
• Use safety protocols when lifting heavy items and working in warehouse.
• Receive packages and inventory of supplies and materials.
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
• When supplies and inventory is low, initiate request for purchase orders.
• Delivery of mattresses and like items to homes, marinas and businesses.
• Handle freight shipments with carrier.
• Loading and offloading trucks and vans.
• Knowledge of use of forklift preferred.
• Mark & label inventory as designated.
• Be able and willing to float where needed as support and assistance in production.
• Be available for long distance deliveries where there is early departure or late return arrival.
• Maintain and organize USPS, UPS and additional boxes.
• Clean & organize designated sections for optimal work space.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment for self, company and other staff.
• Trash and bulk removal
• Transfer and move any needed materials and equipment for more space and storage when needed.
• Set up and breakdowns at Trade Shows - travel required.
