Veteran Engineering and Technology, LLC (VET) requires a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Technician with advanced knowledge of VLANs, switchport configuration, layer two networking, and QOS. Advanced knowledge of the following protocols: SIP, MGCP, H.323, SCCP. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to achieve customer satisfaction by maintaining IP Service Level Agreements (SLA) for call quality, uptime, and resolution of high-priority incidents. Able to effectively use required tools and equipment. Able to recognize and solve typical problems related to Voice Communications systems. Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and vendors. Able to work with changing work priorities and deadlines..

The following tasks are anticipated:

Provide consultation, design, installation, support, configuration/programming, update/upgrade, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of voice network and system components, power supply systems, peripherals, and software as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates competency 5 years functional experience in supporting Voice Operations and/or Voice Engineering Public Trust security clearance for DoD network administration access required CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and DoD 8570 IAT II level credentials. Current State Driver’s license.
