Seeking a Utilization Assistant that has the ability to effectively handle a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance. A friendly, positive demeanor with patients and team members.
- Process Mental Health Assessments and Treatment Plans
- Request authorizations from payor sources (Medicaid/CMO)
- Generate graphs/spreadsheets/reports
- Data entry of units into EHR system
- Complete and process intake referrals
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Ensure that all guidelines and timelines are met for all Medicaid/CMO clients
- Ensure that all policies that govern our clients are met
- Data is entered precisely with an attention to detail
- Process all intake forms for new clients. Must have excellent communication skills due to working closely with referral sources
- Strong administrative and computer skills with the ability to learn new programs.
- Problem solving skills.
- Maintain consumer accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information.
- Maintain secure and confidential patient files in an EMR database.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
We require 3-5 years experience in utilization, Medicaid CMO preferred, must be well versed in Microsoft Office Suite. A basic Excel test will be administered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
