Job Description - Driver:

One of the best thrift stores in the country is looking for new drivers to pick up donations in residential areas. We are always looking for hard-working individuals who desire to grow within our company, and strive to help our employees develop into the roles they wish to achieve. We work hard, and have fun together!

Our truck fleet consists of 16' automatic Isuzu NPR box trucks.

Class C and we supply the truck(s)

Requirements

• Proficient in using a GPS for routing.

• Physically capable of the job duties which include lifting, bending, loading, unloading, and stacking items throughout the day.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. above shoulders, safely.

• A good driving record! Please note: we will run a background check through the DMV to verify qualification.

• Maintain a current, registered, valid Class C Driver’s License.

• Provide excellent Customer Service!

• Keep a Safety First mindset at all times.

• Positive work attitude and good character.

• Has excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Reliable for daily work routes

• Follows daily schedule which is always different, to pick up donations from residential areas

• Returns to the store to unload daily pickups; Trailer Unloaders may be available to assist

• Fuels Truck as needed before and after routes

• Follows all Safety Rules and guidelines

• Works well with the Office Dispatchers

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with weekends off!

Pay: $18- $20.00 per hour to start

Benefits: After 90 days of continuous employment, employees are eligible for paid healthcare, paid holidays and paid vacation.
