The Training Coordinator is responsible for assuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to CareAparent clients and serving as Training Coordinator and company liaison by performing in-home care initiation visits, home safety assessments, check-in calls, employee evaluations, monitoring visits and facilitating orientation and training to new hires.

Job Duties

  • Train new hires on company policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate new hire engagement and participation.
  • Assist in performing client introduction visits to assure client understanding of the plan of care.
  • Perform employee monitoring visit during in-home assessments.
  • Complete accurate documentation of assessments and monitoring visits in ClearCare.
  • Implement caregiver field training based on needs, trends, patterns, and issues as directed by Manager.
  • Evaluate caregiver performance utilizing performance scorecards and employee review forms.
  • Conduct shadow shifts, unannounced visits, and attend weekly meetings as requested.
  • Collaborate with manager to ensure effective performance, development, and retention programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
  • Fill-in for Caregiver shifts as needed.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant home care or assisted living experience
  • Supervisory/management and training experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • Valid driver's license with an insured, reliable vehicle
  • CNA certification preferred
  • Fill-in for Caregiver shifts as needed.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Must possess positive, enthusiastic attitude, good people skills, and professional appearance.
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Ability to evaluate and research and implement training options and alternatives.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
  • Basic technology and computer skills.
  • Desire to serve other with compassion, excellence, safety, collaboration, and trust.
  • Able to pass background criminal and driving check, drug testing.
  • Must speak English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
