As a Technology Vendor Management Business Analyst (VM BA) - Vice President, you will be responsible for performing operational and analytical tasks including designing, proposing, and/or implementing automated / more efficient (less manual) processes for the vendor management team. Analysis is focused on process improvement, data conditioning, and in some cases validation and controls. Accurate and reliable information will be the basis of improving the quality of our data and increasing value and savings for Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Technology.

Your role as a Technology VM BA Vice President will include consulting with various technology and functional teams, both internal and external to CCB Technology to identify best practices that will fit our needs and improve the services and value that we are able to bring to our organization. We are looking for a highly motivated business analyst who has the ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, able to identify issues and the root causes proactively, assess situations for risk and scope of impact, provide analytical solutions and able to foresee downstream impact before presenting recommendations. You should be able to articulate and communicate information, concepts and opinions to others in a clear and concise way and have experience building relationships with key stakeholders and business partners and navigating difficult customer interactions. For this role, candidates must be able to physically work in either our Wilmington, DE or Jersey City, NJ offices 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.

Job Responsibilities
  • Works very closely with our Finance & Business Management (F&BM) partners, other members of the Vendor Management Team.
  • Identifying issues, developing and communicating resolutions.
  • Reviewing the current operating model for various processes, taking the lead on or assisting with opportunities to gain operational efficiencies.
  • Partner with other members of the team to build out reporting which will be used in presentations for all levels of management with clear, concise, and easy to understand graphics that outlines the data for various levels of management.
  • Manage / perform Data Remediation activities.
  • Documenting Process design, creating and documenting control points to generate cost saves across multiple lines of business.
  • Improve integration of disparate system data, to ensure consistent data framework
  • Creation of dashboards, tied to persona views across CCB Tech F&BM. Critical ability to understand customer needs and visualize into specialized views
  • Expert in modeling process flows, data relationship flows and event sequencing. Able to understand the logic of code and to construct complex data queries

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred.
  • 10+ years' experience as a business analyst within a financial services organization. 10+ years' experience in analytics and/or reporting.
  • Advanced in MS Excel, MS Access, Essbase, SharePoint, SQL; In excel the individual should be able to create pivot tables, perform VLOOKUPs, insert slicers, etc.. Ability to transform data from Essbase cubes into Alteryx, Tableau.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and the ability to work independently yet interacts with a wide variety of groups. Be able to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Experience developing and automating reporting processes required.
  • Expert in modeling process flows, data relationship flows and event sequencing.
  • Able to understand the logic of code and to construct complex data queries
  • Delivering Results - Strive to set and understand goals and work to reach short-term goals and support long-term strategy.
  • Organization and Data Analytics - passion for data accuracy and demonstrating the ability to understand financial concepts and analyze financial data; understanding business principles.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work efforts in a demanding high paced environment.
