Technical Research and Development Chemist to join the team at Euclid Chemical.

Salary
: $110,000 plus annual bonus program (bonus target of 20% of salary)
Job Description:
As a Technical Research and Development Chemist, you will apply academic knowledge and work experience to construction industry problems. In addition, you are responsible for the design and development of products that meet specific needs while factoring in business considerations per request. Also to modify, combine, and formulate compounds for specific uses to meet a business goal or need.
Job Duties:
Conducting experiments to ensure the desirable features and functions of a product are retained as other properties are changed.
Working with process personnel / Managers to “scale up” processes (i.e., make a new product in larger quantities for commercialization)
Develop and formulate new cement and concrete products.
Evaluate and approve new raw materials as requested by Manager.
Filing regulatory documents, reports when required.
Reformulating existing products in response to changes in regulations or availability of raw materials
Using experiments methodology according to Manager’s / Company’s standards to meet decision making processes.
Collaborate in presentations, training programs and events with technical knowledge.
Present results in a timely manner to meet company’s plan.
