Tchefuncte’s partners with community purveyors Covey Rise, Backwater Foie Gras & Duck, Craig Borgess Seafood and nearby Three Dog Farm for the best seafood, meats and produce. Tchefuncte’s is searching for a talented, creative, and experienced Executive Sous Chef. This role provides the unique opportunity to learn and work with award winning chefs. If you are self-motivated and enjoy working in a professional and fun environment, we would love to talk to you!

Job Duties:
Very simply to help our Executive Chef drive the culinary vision for what is next with our steak and seafood programs, while getting the best out our Sous Chefs and line cooks daily. There is some scheduling and purchasing as part of you duties.
Qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in similar scope – required
• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Ability to create highed dishes with seasonal ingredients
• Record of developing kitchen staff knowledge of food and skill
• Familiar with industry’s best practices, achieving targeted goals for food and labor
• Purchasing Experience
• Working knowledge of various computer software programs
• BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate would be a plus

Salary Information: $60,000 - $85,000 Annually with achievable bonus, healthcare, dental and vision benefits.
