Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs on various types of roofing systems including shingles, metal, flat, and tile.
- Conduct diagnostic tests to determine the source of leaks or other issues.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment to repair and replace damaged roofing materials.
- Work on both residential and commercial roofing systems.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures when working at heights or with hazardous materials.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time and materials used.
- Communicate effectively with customers and other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies.
Qualifications:
- Experience in roofing repair and maintenance, with knowledge of different roofing materials and systems.
- Familiarity with roofing industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
This job will require physical labor, as roofing repair work often involves lifting and carrying heavy materials, as well as climbing ladders and working on roofs in varying weather conditions.
