Job Description

Our client, a leading contract research company, is looking for a Senior Research Scientist with solid Research and Development experience. Specifically, we are seeking an individual who is able to handle the following responsibilities:

1) Handle all areas of pre-formulation work and use the data in PBPK modeling using GastroPlus with a strong emphasis on early formulation development

2) Develop experimental designs directly as well as provide technical consultation

3) Communicate across multiple functional areas including process chemistry, analytical chemistry, and physical chemistry

4) Direct junior researchers on projects and work individually on research topics

5) Conduct surveys to gather information about the experiences of customers using a company’s products or services

6) Conduct focus groups or surveys with individuals within specific populations to learn more about their needs or preferences

7) Interpret research results to identify implications for future study or application

8) Comply with the company’s policies and procedures

9) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the contract research industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in research and development

Compensation and Other Details

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
