Responsibility Summary/Job Description

This individual is responsible for the delivery of highly available and high performing DDI, load balancing, and routing and switching solutions for the data center and cloud environments. This includes performing operations and maintenance activities, as well as research, design, and implementation of new solutions. We are seeking a talented, experienced, and innovative individual who can adapt and deliver results in this challenging and rapidly changing environment.

Team Details

The team consists of six network professionals each having more than 10+ years' experience in the industry. We work closely with other network, platform, and cloud teams in supporting solutions.

Position Requirements

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Information technology preferred, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with enterprise network solutions (HW and SW defined networks, routing, switching, application load balancing, DDI, network management platforms, and packet analysis)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Ability to multi-task and participate in large, complex, and concurrent projects
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, and Multicast, technologies
• Experience with Cisco Nexus platforms
• Experience with f5 LTM and GTM platforms
• Experience with investigating complex network related issues to resolution
• Ability to analyze requirements, and develop and deploy technical solutions according to business objectives
• Ability to align with IS and Firm objectives, and provide strategic direction and technical leadership
• Ability to mentor and build the technical skills of others, and foster a strong and collaborative team environment
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships throughout the organization and with partners / vendors
• Ability to influence peers and leaders in a matrix organization
• Champion's innovation and embraces change

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cloud IaaS with MS Azure preferred.
• Experience with IaC preferred.
• Experience with Cloud automation, including experience with Python, Terraform, and Ansible preferred.
• Experience with Infoblox preferred.
• Experience with VMware NSX and Advanced Load Balancer (Avi) preferred.
• Experience with Agile and SCRUM methods preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in other areas of Information Technology (security, computing, operating systems, application infrastructure and development, etc.)

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Missouri: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
