The Company:

SparkCharge is a fast-growing cleantech start-up that is reducing barriers to Electric Vehicle (EV) adoption. We design, manufacture, and sell portable, Level III charging systems for EVs. We also provide “Charging-as-a-Service” (CaaS) through our mobile app “Currently”, which allows EV owners to schedule charge delivery to wherever their vehicle is located. Spark Charge is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. This position is fully in-office in Somerville, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple financial analysis projects at the same time. At month end, you will be responsible for budget, projection, and actual variance commentary.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
• Manage organizational cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Build and manage monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts
• Develop strategies to increase profitability
• Model pricing and profitability scenarios for multiple product lines
• Leverage business intelligence to make meaningful recommendations on LTV and CAC
• Assist with specific projects and initiatives unique to a fast changing start up, such as updates and business process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
• 5+ years' of relevant experience
• Ability to create and deliver unbiased budget expectations for organization
• Passionate about EV’s and technology enabled mobility
• Experience working with financial data tools ( excel, forecasting systems, financial software).
• Looker experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to be a trusted partner with finance leadership and the ability to adapt to new approaches in a rapidly changing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong quantitative financial skills
