We are currently searching for a Bilingual Injection Scheduler to join our growing team in Chamblee, GA. The Bilingual Injection Scheduler is responsible for scheduling non-operative spinal treatment of painful spine disorders. The ideal candidate will have proficient working knowledge of spinal and platelet rich plasma injections and the differences in each.

Duties:

  • Monitor Injections' email account, create task/add to Injections Master tracking spreadsheet.
  • Review office notes and injection orders to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Review patients' medical history to ensure injections are a safe option (Ex. Diabetic patients are they taking blood thinners, etc.)
  • Confirm patient symptoms and the need for injection.
  • Disseminate the confirmed injection orders to the appropriate Patient Services Manager who corresponds with attorneys as applicable.
  • Accurately notate all patient communication in Electronic Medical Records system and the Injections Scheduling Tracking program.
  • Accurately schedule injections under multiple Providers as well ensuring they are scheduled with the appropriate provider at the correct location.
  • Ensure all follow-up appointments are scheduled.
  • Call patients to advise them of their injection date, time, and location.
  • Educate patients for pre-op and post-op procedure as well as expectations (e.g., Prior to procedure advise patients to drink plenty of water and post-op care instructions following procedure)
  • Advise and confirm patients will have a responsible driver if they need anxiolytic medication for procedure.
  • Answer questions regarding each patient's appointment and any testing.

Qualifications:

  • 2 – 3 years of office experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and anatomy
  • Ability to effectively deliver clear, concise communication.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships between all departments and team members.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Medical Assistant experience preferred, but not required.
  • Bilingual speaker required – Spanish
