Sales Assistant (German Fluency and exp req) Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Sales Assistant to add to their team in Elgin, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the sales team with various administrative and customer-related tasks. Our client is a German-owned manufacturing company so to be successful in this role; you must be fluent in German and have experience living in a German-speaking country or working for a German company. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication and organizational skills. Sales Assistant (German Fluency and exp req) Responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Sales team with administrative tasks
• Add customer data to CRM and ERP and maintain up-to-date records
• Communicate with Germany on the technical needs of customers
• Work with sales engineers to translate additions into proposals
• Add costs to proposals
• Process orders internally and places orders for components from German factories
• Create invoices and send them to customers

Sales Assistant (German Fluency and exp req) Qualification

• Fluency in German and English required
• Must have previously worked for a German company or lived in a German-speaking country
• MS Office Proficiency required
