JOB DESCRIPTION

Monday- Friday

7-8 hour shifts ending at 4:30pm.

The Asst. HSE Tech provides clear HSE support to the implementation and sustainment the HSE Global, Site

and regulatory programs for the site. There are many HSE programs and tasks that require the Asst. HSE

Tech to support keeping the business safety implementation active and engaged.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support Industrial Safety program documentation including Critical Standards in the workplace. This includes

Security and Food Safety involvement.

· Supports labeling of hazardous chemicals, maintaining a chemical inventory of hazardous materials.

· Work with Site’s HSE Manager to ensure record keeping and required reporting is met for OSHA compliance,

and other similar regulatory activities for the company & contractors.

· Supports Emergency Response planning and site walkthroughs and inspections

· Updating HSE procedures as needed

· Data Entry and documentation control for all HSE programs.

Takes clear direction from HSE Manager Work with support program compliance.

· Execute monthly inspections

· Do Food Defense/Security walks

· Track inspection results and report

Minimum Qualifications · High School Diploma/Associates Degree and 1-2 years awareness/knowledge of OSHA programs · 1-2 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting implementing safety compliance Preferred Qualifications · Chemical/Food Sciences background · Hard worker, willingness to learn safety programs

Computer tool usage · Know how to retrieve documents, files · Work with Site’s HSE Manager to ensure record keeping and required reporting is met, and other similar regulatory activities for the company & contractors. · Able to work with others in a plant environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
