Job Description
- Provide support to the Director of Nursing
- Set resident care standards in accordance with accepted current standards of care to provide high quality care to residents.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for nursing care of residents.
- Supervise and manage all aspects of the nursing department.
- Assess, direct, and supervise resident care needs.
- Participate in committee meetings.
- Collaborate with administration to ensure efficient, cost-effective operation of the facility.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
- Great planning and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of computers and healthcare software.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to team members and residents.
- The ability to work under stressful conditions.
Requirements:
- RN license
