Receiving Office Clerk Job at Coast Personnel Services
Processes all receiving documentation through the on-line management system to maintain inventory integrity.
Essential Job Functions:
· Verifies delivery carrier documentation to insure that scheduled appointment times are being met. Communicates delivery appointment schedules with outside carriers
· Performs on-line verifications to insure that product being delivered matches the purchase order
· Assigns receiving door to outside carrier according to the receiving schedule generated by the Receiving Supervisor
· Reconciles purchase orders to bills of lading, processes internal receiving documents and distributes them to receiving checkers
· Verifies that summary labels have been properly completed and signs bill of lading
· Match, enters and reconciles purchase orders
· Performs perpetual and physical inventory counts and adjustments and reconciles counts with on-line system
· Performs slot moves inventory adjustments, and item maintenance
· Has a responsibility to support and assist in the execution of the Food Safety and Quality Systems.
· Assists other departments as needed and other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:
· Previous experience working with P.C.’s, computer equipment and commonly used office machines
·Work Environment
· Able to work in the freezer (-10 degrees) for extended time, if needed
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
Physical Demands
· The ability to work in a standing or sitting position for an entire shift
· The ability to bend, twist and stoop while performing job duties
· The ability to lift 30 lbs. from floor to a height of 5 feet
