Project Manager (Manufacturing exp. req.) Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Project Manager to add to their team in Naperville, IL. You will be responsible for building projects from the initial contract review through the production process. You will consult with the customer to gather part specifications and advise on manufacturability, quote tooling and production costs, and ensure projects are hitting timely milestones. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in manufacturing and quality and can transfer their skills with the training and guidance that will be provided by an industry-expert leadership team. Project Manager (Manufacturing exp. req.) Responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of multiple projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
• Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
• Minimize potential risks, adjust for project constraints
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and plans
• Present progress updates to appropriate management
• Attend occasional conferences and trainings
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs

Project Manager (Manufacturing exp. req.) Qualification

• 2+ years of project management experience required
• Manufacturing experience required
• Quality Management Systems (such as ISO 9001) experience required
• Project management software experience required
• Client-facing interaction required
