Printpack's manufacturing plant in Elgin, IL is seeking qualified candidates to fill Laminator Assistant and Press Assistant positions for our 3/2 Night Shift (7pm - 7am) Schedule.
Wage range for the Assistant position is $16.80 - $25.20/hr ,+$2.50/hr shift differential for Night Shift.
Additional $2.50/hr shift differential for NIGHT Shift only between the hours of 7pm-7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium.
How you will contribute: Your day-to-day?
The Production Assistant is responsible for:

Providing assistance and support to the Press or Lamination Operator in preparing the equipment (set-up) for the production run
-
Assisting the Press or Lamination Operator in monitoring the actual production run and providing required materials during the run
-
Assisting in monitoring the environment to ensure health, safety, environmental, food safety/security, and housekeeping policies and practices are followed
-
Cleaning equipment and preparing for future runs by gathering materials and equipment
-
Maintaining spirit of cooperation within the team and collaborate with others to achieve safety, quality, waste, and production goals
What you will need?
Minimum Qualifications:

Requires standing for long periods
-
Requires lifting up to 50 lbs
-
Ability to work 3/2-night shift schedule
-
Ability to work overtime when required
-
Basic computer skills
-
Ability to read a tape measure

Preferred Qualifications

Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Prior experience as an Laminator Operator/Assistant

Prior experience running Rotogravure or Flexo press
