Preschool Teacher - Urgently Hiring - $26/hour Job at Norton Staffing and Recruiting Group
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social and emotional development of all students.
- Prepare lessons in instructional formats that accommodate differences in individual child needs.
- Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies, activities, and resources that reflect an understanding of the learning styles and needs of assigned students.
- Responsible for implementing the curriculum of the classroom, and planning and writing weekly learning experience plans.
- Responsible for daily attendance, case notes, and reports as required and data entry into Child Plus, Teaching Strategies Gold or another designated database.
- Other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education OR a Non-ECE Bachelor’s with 12 credits in ECE.
OR
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education pursuing Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or related field with the CT Early Childhood Teacher Credential
EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Six months or more of classroom experience in ECE setting preferred.
- Bilingual preferred, but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $26.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Child Development Associate Certification (Required)
- BLS or CPR Cert. (Preferred)
