The First Congregational Church of Westminster,
Vermont, organized 1767. We are an open and affirming independent church.
We welcome and accept into full membership and participation people of every race, nationality, age, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, physical and mental ability, and economic status.
We are a small Vermont congregation looking to call a ¾ time minister for our independent, open and affirming church. We are seeking a progressive pastor with a strong faith and a forward-looking attitude who will lead us into a changing and challenging future with faith and determination, while understanding and caring for our limited resources.
We are looking for an interim minister or a settled pastor.
We need someone who can participate in our church activities and encourage community interaction. We are hoping to enlarge our congregation and increase our missionary outreach, while attracting young people to join us.
We have a group of talented and enthusiastic musicians and singers who regularly participate in worship, a women's fellowship group that works hard on several mission/projects and a group of deacons willing to help out in any way needed.
