A number of our clients near Washingtonville, NY are looking for Paralegals to join their teams. They are looking for candidates that have experience in Personal Injury, Real Estate or Litigation.

The Paralegal must have:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Paralegal in a law office setting
- Experience with Personal Injury, Real Estate OR Litigation
- Associates in Legal Studies or Paralegal Certification strongly preferred
- Understanding of legal procedures, protocols and the court system
- Thorough knowledge of legal terminology
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Proficiency with computers and computer programs such as MS Word and Excel
- Ability to proactively work alone and well under pressure
Job duties include:
- Gather discovery, review and draft discovery demand and responses
- Drafting cover letters and document preparation
- Drafting and writing reports and legal documents
- Filing motions about cases
- Schedule depositions
- Work on confidential matters for the GC and legal team
- Work closely with the legal team on special projects, coordinate reports, ad hoc tasks.
