Order Fulfillment Associate Job at Noregon Systems, Inc.
In this role you will be responsible for providing high quality, efficient and timely shipment of all of the company’s products to its customers. This includes: picking, packing and shipping customer orders and data entry, preparing shipping documentation, managing inventory and troubleshooting any technical or shipping errors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Order processing is a major component of this position
- Use of our ERP system and License Management systems to update customer information.
- Accuracy and efficiency are critical in this role
- Shipping: Process each Sales Order via the company’s Order Management System and perform a quality assurance check to verify each order is accurate
- Communicate daily with team members and relay any warehouse issues to Supervisor.
- Daily Delivery of items shipped to the company and items to be shipped to customers and vendors between the 3 Noregon buildings inside the business park.
Other tasks that the applicant may be requested to assist with include but are not limited to:
- Pick and Pack: Same day picking and packing of customer orders that demonstrates perfection in quality as it relates to completeness, placement, and product condition.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately.
- Receiving: Unload deliveries of products and shipping supplies and verifying that the correct items did arrive and report any discrepancies.
- Perform monthly inventory counts in the warehouse and resolve any inventory count discrepancies.
- Assemble products utilizing hand tools and preparing for shipment.
- Load and unload pickups for all parcel/freight carriers throughout the day.
- Organize and clean the warehouse and move materials from different sections when necessary.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment.
- Work will be performed in both an office environment and warehouse environment
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse setting preferred but not required.
- 1+ years of experience in an Order Fulfilment setting preferred but not required.

- Must be willing and able to use personal vehicle to make daily delivery and pick-up runs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance in the State of North Carolina.
- Clean driving record.
- Must have reliable vehicle. SUV/Truck/Van preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic motor skills and manual dexterity for extensive computer usage are required.
- Sitting for extended periods of time is required.
- Talking, hearing and close vision abilities are required.
- Standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, and crouching required.
- Stress may occur with changing priorities, tight deadlines and long hours.
- Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds overhead along with the ability to stand of your feet for extended periods of time.
- Some work may be performed in the warehouse that is not air conditioned.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- May require daily travel between buildings. Noregon Systems occupies three buildings in Greensboro, NC. Shipping and Receiving is located within 4 miles of three other Norgon Buildings. The ideal candidate is able to deliver and pick up items daily from these other offices (w/ own vehicle).
