Operating Room Nurse Manager (RN) Job at Tandym Group
A health services network in Rockland County is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team as their new Operating Room Nurse Manager. In this role, the Operating Room Nurse Manager (RN) will be responsible for providing and integrating clinical leadership and management of the Operating Room on a twenty four hour basis.
Responsibilities:
The Operating Room Nurse Manager (RN) will:
- Oversee the Operating Room suites and oversee staff
- Conduct a wide variety of surgical cases
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization
- Develop and sustain an environment of excellence in patient / family service, growth and development of staff, and application of evidenced-based practice
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualification:
- 2+ years of Operating Room Leadership experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Patient oriented
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
