NURSE PRACTITIONER (NP) / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (PA) - Suffolk OB

New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS), a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking a NP/PA to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation. Practice manages a freestanding outpatient Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy and Research department.

In this role, you will:

• Manage health problems and coordinate health care for the Oncology/Hematology patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status).
• Perioperative preparation and postoperative clinical management conducted in collaboration with other health care team members.

We require:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner.
• Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure/ Physician’s Assistant License.
• 1 year of experience in Oncology/Hematology helpful.
• Strong computer skills, experience in EMR useful.
• Graduates encourage to apply.
• Bilingual, Spanish, Bengali, or Mandarin speaking preferred.

Hours: Monday-Friday.

Salary up to $180,000/year based on experience.
