Role: Sr. Network Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA

Summary:
The Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of Network and/or Application Infrastructure with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects in a Global Enterprise environment.

Job Duties Include:

• Participate in all aspects of the infrastructure life cycle for Enterprise Network, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity
• Plan and implement network changes in a high-availability environment.
• Work with deployment teams and data center operations providing support during new capacity additions and changes on the Enterprise network.
• Maximizing network performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
• Installing and configuring Infrastructure equipment
• Creating firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected
• Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating Infrastructure issues to other employees and management
• Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems
• Installing and maintaining operating environments.
• Monitoring these operating environments.
• Updating any software and hardware where necessary.

• Tech School / Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred; 3-5 or more years related experience, of which should be with hands-on architecting, designing, developing, and implementing Infrastructure solutions; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of BGP, IPV4/6
• Knowledge of Cisco Nexus 7k,77k, and 9k
• OSPF
• Worked with SlverPeak SDWAN
• Knowledge of Lean / Agile development methodologies

• Experience administering physical, virtual, and network computing environments
• Experience with manufacturing IT systems/solutions Strong grasp of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD administration
• Scripting knowledge via PowerShell
• Strong ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online email deliverability issues, and anti-spam solutions Ability to support and resolve a wide range of daily technical issues; eagerness to investigate and learn new technologies
• Ability to work and communicate within a global, culturally diverse, and fast-paced team environment
• Network Infrastructure related project management and architecture design
• Network performance monitoring and problem troubleshooting
• Evidence of developing innovative solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
