Medical Records LPN/RN Job at Jamestown Nursing and Rehab
Manage, maintain and organize the resident's medical record in compliance with federal, state, local requirements and facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain the medical record system in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Maintain medical record information in a manner that prevents loss, damage or destruction.
- assure that all medical record information is protected and kept confidential.
- Notify Administrator of any medical records request immediately.
- Process Medical Records requests timely and accurately, with assistance of counsel.
- File medical records accurately. Develop system for prompt medical records retrieval upon request by authorized individuals and agencies.
- Answer correspondence regarding release of information from medical records according to facility policy.
- Enter data into the computer timely, accurately and completely. Print forms and reports from the computer program as required.
- Coordinate with physicians to ensure that medical records requiring their review and signature are available for their review and completed.
- Travel to occasional meetings, conventions and seminars.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
