As an experienced Assembler, you will work with your hands and various tools and equipment to build pumps that are used worldwide that people depend on for water, sanitation, food, oil, and so much more! This is an experienced level position with on-the-job training provided and it is the first step within your career at Wanner Engineering!

What you’ll do:

· Work with the assembly team to review daily dispatch and to identify daily production goals while accomplishing the goals in a quality driven environment.

· Focusing on large and small pumps, valves, and systems, assemble all components at various stations to a standard bill of materials with an acceptable level of quality and expected volume of throughput.

· Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn and assist in other areas such as parts washing, material movement, kits, test, etc.

What you bring:

· A minimum of 5 years working in mechanical assembly

· Mechanical ability and enjoy working with your hands and tools

· Demonstrated ability to work with computer software including ERP and Microsoft office applications

· Demonstrated ability to interpret 12-digit alpha numeric configuration string

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis

· Reliable, and predictable attendance

· Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment is beneficial but not required

· Good communication skills and ability to work within cross functional teams

· Awareness of 5s, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement and willingness
