Progressive, Growing Electrical apparatus service company specializing in service of electric motors, controls and pumps is seeking a general mechanic to repair our customer’s equipment in our Virginia Beach service facility. Mechanical experience required (approximately 5 years) and electro-mechanical experience preferred but not required.
WILL CONSIDER APPLICANT WITH STRONG MECHANICAL BACKGROUND AND/OR EXTENSIVE MECHANICAL KNOWLEDGE OR APTITUDE.
Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean DMV record
- Team Player
- Self-directed after training
- Ability to walk, climb, and crawl to complete tasks in the Service Shop
- Willing to assist with outside service calls
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently; up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Available for possible overtime and/or emergencies
