Dakota State University is seeking applications for a Marketing and Merchandising Specialist in the Trojan Zone. The Trojan Zone is the one-stop shop for all DSU licensed apparel and gifts.

Responsibilities:

• Select retail products for sale both in store and online.
• Use social media to enhance the customer base for the store.
• Manage the e-commerce website (product availability, pricing, images, descriptions, etc.
• Supervise a team of student employees.
• Greet and assist customers with purchases in store, online, and over the phone.
• Use the inventory program to receive products and track invoices/credits.
• Create purchase orders and process invoices.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of marketing and merchandising practices.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Superior time management and organization skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent customer service skills
