Job Function:

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports and enhances the Children’s Home mission of helping the kids and families who need it most by executing the day-to-day responsibilities related to brand management and agency messaging. This individual will lead the creation of social media calendars and content, internal and external communications efforts, and support existing marketing initiatives to meet departmental and agency goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in general marketing functions such as copy writing, communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator must be an organized and creative multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once, meet tight deadlines, and be extremely proactive in execution.

Position Profile and Responsibilities:

Social Media (60%)

  • Lead the creation of unique and impactful social media content and posts via a content calendar for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, blogs, and other identified channels to promote the agency mission of helping the youth and families who need it most adhering to the agency’s defined content pillars.Note: This position is not _responsible for graphic design.

  • Execute the agency’s monthly email campaign “CHAIL Mail” for agency supporters, donors, and community members, providing routine maintenance on the existing list of contacts while growing membership.
  • Prepare marketing and social activity reports and metrics for measuring success, along with market research to identify trends and recommend proactive marketing tactics.
  • Attend all CHAIL sponsored activities that may foster quality social media content to gather information, take high quality photos and videos, and act as the gatekeeper of information between agency events and all social followers.
  • Engage with special event planning to ensure marketing needs (i.e. advertising, messaging, image and brand, etc.) are being maintained at the highest standard.
  • Ensure all marketing efforts are in pursuit of one consistent, cohesive and approved brand voice and style.
  • Assist in the implementation of the agency’s brand strategy.

Internal Communications (40%)

  • Support the maintenance and development of internal digital and grassroots communications tools including agency-wide weekly email newsletters with value-added content, intranets, email contact lists, etc.
  • Manage sourcing, procurement, and inventory of all branded products for the agency (working with each program to stay within their budget and act as a helpful resource in getting them what products best suit their needs).
  • Act as internal point of contact between all program and operations staff and Marketing Department ensuring the highest customer service and timely feedback/response
  • Collaborate with the agency’s Marketing and Communications team to ensure successful campaigns and high-level execution for the department.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or associates degree in marketing, advertising, or communications, or relevant industry experience
  • Relevant knowledge of social media trends and marketing, traditional and digital marketing, and content marketing (Facebook, Instagram, reels, stories, LinkedIn)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized with an ability to multitask and honor project deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Pay: $43,680.00 - $54,600.00 per year
