3M is seeking a Full-Time 2nd or 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic in Stafford Springs, Connecticut!

Job Description:

Our products are critical to the development of life saving therapies, treatments, and vaccines. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll make an impact by supporting the delivery of vital products to our biopharma customers.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of all plant systems, which includes processing, packing, warehouse, and facility operations.
• Learning, troubleshooting, and repairing of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Provides excellent customer service for and maintains communications with internal customers
• May require handling hazardous materials and/or waste
• Work in a team or autonomously to complete work orders and provide maintenance support in a variety of manufacturing environments
• Perform other assignments as directed by supervision and leadership

Required:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• One (1) year of Maintenance Mechanic experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.

Desired:

• Three (3) years of Maintenance Mechanic experience
• Must be able to pass the required 3M test battery
• Professional certifications, military background and an AS degree
• This position may require working overtime, weekends, holidays as needed
