Summary: Ensure the upkeep of all site equipment, buildings, vehicles, and other facilities. Provide support to the production teams to ensure safe and efficient operations are maintained and KPI’s are achieved.
Salary Range: $110,000-$130,000.00/Yr.
Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety Culture
- Overall responsibility of the maintenance ensuring production support, all maintenance work (PM’s, repairs, installations, Spares, etc.) is planned, prepped, and systematically scheduled for completion & work complies with code.
- Using continuous improvement methods develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods and equipment performance.
- Maintain forklift fleet vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities.
- Develop, implement, and keep up to date Standard Operating Procedures and Risk assessments for all relevant activities
- Performance Mindset; Consistently seek to improve and achieve set KPI’s
- Hire, train, motivate and supervise employees & Maintain discipline, monitor attendance, and appraise performance.
- Generate weekly and monthly asset availability reports where applicable.
- Manage CMMS to track & report required maintenance.
- Manage project and Capex work as required including allocated budgets.
- Other duties and responsibilities related to the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as required.
- 4 Yr. Degree and or min 3 - 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical operations
- Strong systematic/structured approach to problem solving and analytical capabilities, including ability to perform financial analysis of responsible departments to maximize given budget allocations.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Must be able to speak and understand written English.
- Must understand technical and mechanical language.
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
- Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- CAD – skills desirable
