We are currently searching for a licensed Practical Nurse/RN to join our team. The individual in this position will work directly with patients who need assistance with daily living skills, such as bathing, dressing, feeding and personal hygiene. The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for educating patients about their conditions and medications, and documenting the patients' progress. This position is a part of a long term care team that works hard to meet the residents' needs in a cost-efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medical care to ill, injured, convalescent, or handicapped persons.
• Ensure patients receive complete and appropriate care.
• Maintain and update patient medical records to include daily logs, incident reports, and earned wages.
• Observe patients' behavior to assess overall health and communicate with doctors.
• Record medications administered and vital signs taken to document patient response to treatment.
• Communicate with doctors, administrators, and social workers in order to provide appropriate care for patients.
• Assess the condition of patients and communicate any concerns to doctors.
• Instruct and train patients in proper health care techniques to improve their health condition; observe patients' progress; and report progress to doctor.

Pay: $40.00 - $57.00 per hour
