Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, provide customer service to inbound and outbound calls for potential customers. Verify loan information and perform loan origination. Must operate within the approved guidelines of policies and procedures of the program. This position is located inside a call center.

Duties and responsibilities*

• Respond to inbound calls, emails, web lead forms and other related correspondence.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with business owners.
• Complete applications with prospective clients and follow up on all necessary documents per client request and business profile.
• Update Company Customer Relationship Software with customer contact interactions.
• Verify new loan information and perform loan origination
• Present and sell the contract to the applicant.
• Report complaints or customer service issues to Management
• Provide follow up and solicit current accounts for reactivating their contract.
• Successfully achieve and exceed established performance goals.
• Perform outbound cold calls to prospective leads.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality deliverables.
• Other reasonable job duties as assigned.
• Some weekend hours required

Work Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service in loan industry
• Strong keyboard skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and active listening skills
• Experience in a fast paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Sales experience a plus
• Ability to work independently and make effective use of resources
