Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Paralegal to join our growing team. As a junior paralegal on our team, you will have responsibilities assisting the paralegal team at WWHS facilitate the immigration process for both our clients and prospective healthcare candidates. are works on various visa types.
The position reports to the Director of Legal services. Within the organization, the position has primary working relationships with the legal team, internal client managers, members of our team in the Philippines and with clients.
Principle Accountabilities
- Working in conjunction with a senior paralegal, correspond with potential clients during the intake process and maintain regular communication with existing clients for active cases;
- Primary work is with EB-3, H1B, OPT, TN, F1 and F2 visas
- Prepare immigration petitions and responses to Requests for Evidence, Motions to Reconsider, Responses to Notices of Intent to Deny;
- Oversee and lead various projects and deadlines
- Maybe required to research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions
Qualifications (Required):
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a relevant field
- At least two years of experience in an administrative role
- Solid writing and verbal communication skills
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Ability to effectively multitask
- Ability to adhere and meet strict deadlines
